About Me
I’m Sarah Link, a passionate garden designer with over 10 years of experience in creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. I studied at the Oxford College of Garden Design, where I earned a postgraduate diploma in Residential Landscape Design. I also hold an RHS Certificate in Horticulture and a specialist diploma in Plants & Planting Design. Before pursuing my passion for garden design, I had a background working in accounts, but I always felt drawn to a more creative and fulfilling career. Retraining in this wonderful sector was one of the best decisions I’ve made. It allows me to combine my creativity with my love of nature while making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
I have a particular passion for naturalistic planting, bringing the beauty of nature into residential gardens in a way that feels both effortless and enriching. I love collaborating with my clients throughout the design process, ensuring that each garden reflects their vision and enhances their connection to the outdoors. The joy of transforming a space and seeing its impact, both aesthetically and for mental well-being, is incredibly rewarding.
I grew up in West London, where green space was limited, but thanks to my wonderful mum’s love for the outdoors, I spent much of my childhood exploring local parks and the countryside. This early exposure to nature gave me a deep appreciation for the freedom and wellbeing that outdoor spaces provide, a value that continues to inspire my designs today.
When I’m not designing gardens, you’ll find me outside, visiting gardens, exploring nature, and drawing endless inspiration from the world around me. I also love spending time with my family, enjoying the outdoors together, and appreciating the simple moments that nature brings.
