A Modern Garden with Elegant Steps, Water Feature, and Family-Friendly Patio

This redesign focused on creating a clean, contemporary patio for a couple, following a kitchen extension that removed their old terrace. New porcelain paving now spans the width of the house, with two integrated sets of steps leading down to the lawn — one aligned with the side path and the other from the kitchen doors. A sleek water sphere was positioned close to the house for year-round enjoyment, both indoors and out.

The dining patio was set slightly beyond the steps to draw the clients into the garden, providing a safe, welcoming space for relaxing while their grandchildren play. Existing access routes were retained and new planting areas soften the structure, blending reused elements with a fresh, modern feel.
